Data Management & Analytics

We regularly analyze large complex data sets such as the Census data, Official Airline Guide (OAG) and Freight Analysis Framework and compile them into relational databases with intuitive graphical user interfaces so our clients can understand the datasets without being overwhelmed by complexity. We strive to integrate our data products into GIS and mapping platforms to aid visualization.

Examples of decision support tools we have developed for clients and the public include:

Federal Contracting Assistance Tool (FCAT). A tool that extracts data from the federal USASpending webstie to assist small business quickly identify which federal agencies to market their products and services to.

Quick Analysis Tool for Airport Roadways (QATAR) in the Airport Curbside and Terminal Area Roadway Operation project in ACRP Report 40.

Network Performance and Reliability Suite (NPR-Suite). A Big Data extraction and visualization interface that builds travel congestion maps and metrics from mobile sensor devices. The tool was developed to assist the City of Greensboro with their Congestion Management Process.
